So if you're bored and want to jack your axle up I'd be interested how close yours is to mine. The passenger side has less play versus the drivers side. 2024 Launch Edition. Pull the cover look at the steel pin to see if its worn or the clips are worn. But that is normal to have 1/4" play. Id replace those bushings thats your noise. If your car has one tire fire then you need to rebuild the diff.

There’s very little room between the hub and the frame. Also the rear derailleur might get in the way, so cone adjustment takes some fidgeting to get right.
