Usually you want to Secure Erase when you have SSD issues but this prevents that. Shark.93 is correct: you need to use other tools. Specifically the S11 firmware upgrade tool (USBDev) if VLO's S11 repair doesn't work (VLO also provides the S11 firmware flasher v2). pete shepley wife
