A smoke switch works on LLY+ by maxing out the MAP sensor. On VGT trucks you kind of fool it into thinking boost is high so fuel increases. Web9 jun. 2009 · anyways, basically what i did was tap into the 5v reference and signal wires going into the MAP sensor and hooked them up to a 2 wire on/off toggle switch. the MAP sensor is labeled so it was easy to determine which wires to tap. it does not matter how they are wired to the switch either.
