WebA terminal (conhost/wt/etc) is not the hyperv vmconnect client. The vmconnect client is basically an RDP client with a few tweaks to the protocol. The vmconnect client is being fed the RDP protocol from the hypervisor which is emulating a video card. The vmconnect client isn't getting vt100/xterm codes or something like that, or seeing text. WebMay 19, 2015 · Actually the problem is Hyper-V, since if it just did legacy mouse/keyboard input it would work with any OS regardless. It must have some form of legacy input because it works in i.e. Grub, DOS, the 'F8' menu etc. Just not inside actual windows, then it flicks over to some other method and doesn't work
